INJURY REHABILITATION

Recovering from an injury requires a comprehensive approach to regain strength, mobility, and function. Our rehabilitation programs are tailored to your specific needs, focusing on safe progressions and functional recovery to ensure a successful return to your daily activities, improving overall strength and conditioning

PHYSIO-LED PILATES

Offering the benefits of Pilates with the support of an experienced clinician, making it an excellent form of exercise for those returning from weakness, injury, illness, surgery or after pregnancy. In our sessions you will be supported and guided by an experienced APPI trained Physiotherapist. You can attend a 1:1 session at our clinic before attending the classes if you need an additional assessment

CUPPING THERAPY

Treatment in which a therapist puts specially made glass cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage

 

The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines and rheumatism

ACUPUNCTURE

Increasingly used to treat sports injuries, acupuncture offers benefits like pain relief, reduced inflammation, and enhanced recovery. It can help with various injuries, including sprains, strains, and conditions like tennis elbow and achilles tendinopathy.  Acupuncture may also improve athletic performance by increasing blood flow, reducing muscle fatigue, and promoting mental clarity

KINESIOLOGY TAPING

Kinesiology tape can benefit a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, plus inflammatory conditions. It is used for treating athletic injuries and a variety of physical disorders

 

When the tape is applied, it achieves excellent results by lifting the skin to create a small space between the muscle and dermis layers. That space takes the pressure off swelling or injured muscles, allows smooth muscle movement and makes space for drainage and blood flow

COMPRESSION BOOTS

Compression boots are specialised footwear worn by athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone looking to support their muscular recovery after a workout. These boots apply controlled pressure to the extremities - such as the legs - to improve blood flow and lymphatic system functions

Compression boots help recovery by using compression therapy to improve circulation and reduce swelling. This can lead to relief from muscle soreness and a shorter recovery time after physical activities. They may also increase flexibility, lower muscle soreness levels, and help with injury prevention
